When talking about children and gadgets cannot be denied that the syndrome has so many impacts on the social development.
Realise or not that the gadgets are the most most important things in our life now. Even adult can be obsessed on the gadgets, looking at the gadgets almost everytime, it is impossible to get our children to stay away from the virtual world.
Children may even think that gadgets are substitute to their friends, pets, foods, drinks and the worst is substitute their parents. They get amused with the interactive gadgets.
As a consequence the relationship gets complicated. No social talking in a family even during dinner time, eating with the gadget not looking at everyone. After finished dinner straight away go to the room continue with the gadget.
Some parents may think that it is good because the children don't disturb their business, without realizing the negative side of the situation.
I got one experience with my daughter who was too much on the virtual world, the impacts were too much stressed me out. She did not want to be at my hometown because the internet was slow she could not play with her gadget. Every time the line was slow she would cry like no more tomorrow or her world was ruined by disaster.
One day I discussed with my husband what we're going to do to overcome this problem, then we came up with the solution to reduce her obsession on gadget by cut off the internet connection.
At first the situation was terrible with crying, shouting, anything you just name it that really trigger your patience, but after sometimes she's got used of the situation and slowly reduced the obsession.
When looking her slow down on it, we consulted her by trying to make her understand the real situation.
She becomes more positive and not forcing us too much on the internet connection. The bonus was she can accept thing if no connection and learn to be patience.
